As coaches, we are members of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the governing body for certified coaches.  Our certification process is stringent and formalized.  While many people, today, call themselves coaches, because they believe that their services represent the field of coaching, we have undergone the process, training, and field experience that our practice requires for certification and a firm understanding of the methodology and practice of coaching.  This is important to us, and to our clients, because the ICF has established best practices, coaching core competencies, ethical standards, mentoring and supervision, and the highest levels of training.  Each training provider, program, or school also submits to the highest levels of credentialing.  This is further important because our clients have recourse with regard to service delivery should a question arise about the competency of a coach or their services.  While we have done everything to insure that our clients receive the highest standard of care, we are commited to our clients' safety and experience.
