Our approach is to offer whatever service that is a best fit for our clients' needs, as supported by the corporation and their current EAP program or contracted agreement with Bay Centre. Generally, there are many ways to approach employee assistance, as discussed below.
Coach approach or counseling approach....which is right for me?
Bay Centre's philosophy is to conduct a thorough needs assessment through a personal interview. During this interview, we assist our clients in assessing their current level of functioning and overall sense of well being. When the employee is experiencing distress to a higher degree or is impacted by a significant personal or life experience, we might recommend counseling by a licensed mental health professional. If the employee is wanting to explore options, solutions, or clarity but is not negatively impacted to a degree that impedes their performance, we might recommend coaching by a certified professional coach. Whatever the solution, we are dedicated to partnering with our clients to achieve the highest level of personal and professional success.
