Bay Centre’s approach to mental health is simple: we believe clients are consistently and constantly seeking growth and understanding. We believe that hope and perseverance of spirit are what drives our search for meaning. We believe that obstacles can be both, real and perceived, internal and/or external. We believe that our professionals can assist our clients with determining the difference and then helping them to define their course of action.

Bay Centre’s counselors are diagnostic professionals with expertise in the areas of assessment, counseling, and treatment. Our process is confidential and adheres to the best practices for our field. We create an environment of inquiry to assist our clients in considering all the components within and outside of a situation that may be impacting their goals for personal success and the highest levels of mental health. We achieve this by and through:
  • understanding the appropriate assessment for gaining specific insight into the issue(s)
  • conducting an extensive intake that serves to create a 360 degree look at the components impacting the situation
  • having the expertise to give common sense meaning to the assessment and intake results
  • assisting our clients in a clear diagnosis of the presenting issue(s)
  • partnering with our clients to align their goals with their current circumstances
  • creating a targeted plan for achieving the results our clients seek

The areas our counselors address are: individual counseling, family counseling, educational counseling, and employee counseling

QUOTES
“I’ve had many problems, some of which came true.”

“Failure is, in a sense, the highway to success, inasmuch as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true.” John Keats

“The spin is a devious problem because people don’t know they’re doing the same thing over and over. Each time, the situation is different enough to make them think they’re responding in a new way.”
