Family Coaching

Families often face challenges just like any business might. Understanding learning styles, personality types, order makeup, and family culture is critical in achieving individual and family success.

Bay Centre coaches work with our families to:

  • Define and set goals for each individual and as a family team
  • Understand the dynamics at play in the family that can create stress or empowerment
  • Understand learning styles and personality types for the purpose of designing conflict resolution and opportunities for empowerment
  • Close the gap between potential and practical success

Family coaching seeks to define and empower each member of the family.

How does family coaching work?

  • A family intake assessment is performed that explores each family member’s strengths, talents, challenges, and goals.
  • Personality assessments, learning style inventories, and self-assessments are conducted to facilitate understanding of the family makeup, approach to conflict, and approach to learning
  • A family meeting is conducted where the coach goes over the data collected and shares their understanding of the family culture and how it shapes each individual, as well as the inner workings of the family dynamics
  • A Family Development Plan is created for each individual family member and the family as a whole
  • A professional coach then follows the family for a period of time as they continue to work on achieving individual and family goals
